You've got that right! The light bar and radio were very poorly wired. I disconnected the wires, one at a time, with the bike on, and the radio turns off if both are not connected. The model is eclipse cd2000.

Another question, while were talking electrical. I have wired in a relay exactly as shown on gadgets, but for some reason, the accessories are not working. When I by pass the relay, they work fine. I thought that it could have been the relay it self, but I tested another one and it too didn't work. Any ideas?
Is the relay grounded on pin 85?

Assuming you have +12v from the battery to pin 30...

If the relay is triggered, you should read at least +12v with a meter between pin 87 and ground. If not, check your trigger circuit.

Is the relay grounded on pin 85?

If the relay is triggered, you should read at least +12v with a meter between pin 87 and ground. If not, check your trigger circuit.
It was my trigger circuit. Someone on here, said that the blue wire was for the rear running lights. It's the red wire on my bike. ???

Still at a loss for my radio.

Did you try disconnecting the power connection in the headlight bucket and re-connecting it? Maybe you fried it?

Nope, not fried. Looks like this may be a problem with these radios. This guys seems to have the same issues, but no one has a solution. I may just go purchase a new radio. I've been wanting one with a usb port anyways.

Blue is brake lights.

Blue is the brake light wire, it would only work that way when you applied the brakes.
