It's not velcro, but similar. Hard to describe it. I'll see if I can find a couple pieces to get a photo of.

The two pieces are adhesive backed and it's real sticky stuff. We use it on some of our equipment to keep speaker grids on and they're typically used outdoors so pretty resiliant. Once you put it together it's pretty tough to get it apart again. The stuff is called dual lock.

Shoot, mine even tells me the temperature, average speed, fuel mileage, two trip meters and the range I have left. So far I can get pretty close to 300 miles on a tank. ::)
