In the Cody area I would strongly recommend the Chief Joseph Highway (296) up to Highway 212 and over Bear Tooth Pass and into Red lodge MT. then east out of Red Lodge on 308 to Belfry then south back to Cody. I would also consider an easterly route in Idaho. I’m not sure what the road number is but it is just off of highway 20, the upper and lower Mesa falls, as well as Quake Lake just into Montana near the junction of 87 and 287. Bear Tooth is the most scenic road I have ridden. Enjoy your trip
