Hello from Chicago:

I have been a lurker/member for quite a while. I am not much on posting, but I wanted to thank the members of this forum for all of your help over the last couple of years. I especially want to thank Trip for creating such a great resource.

I am in my mid fifties and got back into riding about 6 years ago. My wife enjoyed riding with me…so much so that she decided to get her license the following summer. We now spend our weekends riding our bikes as much as possible. I am on my 3rd bike since returning to riding; my wife is on her 2nd. We both anxiously await spring. I can usually get the bike out by the first week in March…not necessarily comfortably, but at least for some shorter rides.

I ride a 2007 Nomad, my wife rides a 2009 950 V-Star Tourer.

Seat modified by Spencer
Cobra FI2000
Cobra True Duals (I de-baffled before that)
Kury highway pegs
Nomad fender script
My design & fab’d hard bag shelf for smaller items
Chrome fender tips (installing this week!)
Maybe, Darkside in the future???

KawaNOW assisted me with all of the above. Not to mention helping with the long winters in Chicago…
