I used the stickon weights, but only needed them on the front tire, The car tire was spot on with no weight at all. I'll bet that doesn't happen too often.

Some things to remember.......... :Install like Mike said, last thing is to tighten is the final drive to the swing arm. :You will have to remove the final drive to get the tire under the bike, so now would be an excellent time to do the swing arm and driveshaft maintenance. Make sure to replace the seals on both sides of the swing arm. This is important to get the best ride and handling out of your bike. :Start out with 40 psi in the tire for ~500 miles to break it in, then, with the tire hot, find you a good long sweeping curve and make runs through it. Drop your pressure 2 or 3 psi, and make the run again. Do this until you find the best "feel". This will be your "sweet spot". Until I found my "sweet spot" it did ride like a 2 horse wagon. Also, make sure both shocks have EQUAL pressure. After the break-in, and getting used to it, I think you'll love this tire. I don't know about any other front tire combo with this tire, but I do know the Cobra is an excellent partner for this tire. ;)

If you have a jack and feel the slightest bit froggy------jump on it! It's not that difficult, and its rewarding, and you'll have the confidence that the job was done right. If you'll go to the Tech Board under Periodic Maintenance Macmac has an excellent step by step procedure written.
You may want to consider adding a grease fitting as per Gadgets site. Thats up to you.

fltekdriver, it's not that hard of a job to do, just a little time consuming. You need to go ahead and order your swing arm seals, because the dealer probably won't have them in stock. The part number is 92049-1181, and you'll need two of them. Also you'll need a torque wrench. Good luck!

My tire man was not happy with my dyna beads. Recently, he showed me some beads on the floor of his shop where he changed a tire for me last year. He said they are hard to clean up and go everywhere when you change tires. Just FYI.

Dyna Beads are clean, natural, and efficient. Heaven forbid we dirty the tire mans floor.
