Jardine Exhaust

I'm sure some are wondering. I paid $220.00 plus $30.00 shipping for the exhaust on e-bay. I had a max bid of $200 and a few hours before it was over upped it to $230. Glad I did. Somebody bid $220 at the last minute and it wasn't enough. I wasn't going to pay $500 or more for new pipes, but would go as high as $250.00 for some used ones. Having them shipped up to Sardis, Ms to Oldbiker Jim's house. Should be arriving on Tuesday the 7th and I'll go up there next Sunday and he'll help me install them. As soon as I try them out, I'll let y'all know how I like 'em. Jamie

Jardine Exhaust

Went to Jim's today and he helped me install the Jardine Rumblers and I love 'em. They look sharp and sound great. At idle they are very quiet but when you give it gas they do some talkin'. They are not slip ons. I love the sound. Much louder than my debaffled stock pipes but not obnoxious. Jim thinks they look and sound better than Vance and Hines, which he has on his Nomad. He also said they were the easiest pipes to install that he had ever fooled with. And My gas mileage which had dropped close to 10 mpgs, is at least as good if not better than when it was stock. I was a little worried, because I didn't know anything about the Jardines, but I couldn't be happier. Those going to Antlers in a few weeks can judge for themselves. But I think I did good. Jamie

Also got rid of hat ugly-ass goat bladder. Man, it looks so much better. Another thing I noticed and really don't know if it has anything to do with it. Before my bike really lugged in 5th gear running under 65. Now it doesn't lug at all going 50 in 5th gear.
