I suffered a bit of good luck today. Yes, I said it right. The Bronco has problems, fuel pump we think so it is in the shop. Only thing left to get to work is------------the Nomad. Soooo, I am going to put one crutch in the scabbard and my folding cane in the saddlebag. This way, I can still have a walking stick in each hand and technically be following Dr's orders. HA.

Yes mac, it will look strange but as you said.............I will be riding. At least until the Bronco is back then I will be back in the cage.

Yes, I used velcro straps to tie a 2 1/2 inch diameter piece of black plastic tube to the left fork tube. The cane slips right into it. This is the same way that I carry the flyrod. Hope to do that soon also.

I said pedal bike shorts a few pair on at the same time those real tight bun grabin shorts. They will brace that hip better than anything else and still allow you to move. Just wear real pants over them.

Who knows maybe the gals will love the look and you can be a fashion trend setter!

Bud, that really sucks my friend.... take care of that hip first and foremost. I expect you to heal up and meet on many rides in the future. Don't make me come up there and fish without you!!!

Well, now you know because I am a little guy, I just can't be One Upped. so I went a frigged up my left knee, and cant friggin walk. Lord knows what I dun this time, because i don't know.

i was layin under a CHEVY truck hammering on brit standard sockets, and 12mm sockets onto rusted out 13mm bolts heads and when I came back out my knee was trash.

I won't blame you since there is that other thread where I can blame "W". But I gotta git that dammned rust bucket the hell outta here before snow flies.

i dunno but that knee is as stiff as it was yesterday. I had my foot up on the floor jack as a rest, and wonder if I bent my knee backwards????

Usually to get hurt I gotta batter myself, so this one is a mystery. I don't know if i should stay off it or go jogging....... I hurt that knee bad a long time ago, maybe this has to do with that.

I fell from a tree and got snagged by my foot never hitting the ground. That hurt bad, puking bad. And a golf ball lump of tendon formed in my calf. That took time to heal, but it did.

I should be out there doing that damned truck, but so far i am playin hooky.
