borto, Not even I the mispeiler can figure WHAT in jumpin blue blazes it is yer a' sayin'

I think this might make me look a lot better than I used to0, around heya'!

It just don't make no sence.

But yes, you can run another power take off, if you get NAPA 2 prong trailer connectors, that come 2 per package for around 78 cents. You will have one to give away even

The Black wire goes to the ground on the battery. My Shumaker has a black lead and a RED lead, seems like urine's has a white + lead.

Is that what yer a' sayiun?

In any case, the hot lead OFF the battery will be the rubber shielded one, the bare one is GROUND.

Now it git's all confusin' when you run a power lead off that, so make sure the center is hot (+) after you go n' fashion one up! Please try to avoid cooking your NO fuses pig tail lead too!

That could make sparks!

BTW, I am preddy sartin' you are full feathered fledged CRAZY. If n' you want I can get that certified.

Actually I think I get it. My Shumacher uses that 2 point connector with the V on one side. That attaches to the jumper cable attachment that you are expected to attach to your battery posts to charge your battery or maintain when sitting too long. Easy red to + and black to -. Is that right?

OK so that's inconvenient cause you have to take the seat off every time to do that. So you go get an SAE connector that attaches to the battery and hangs down under the seat and tank so that you can more easily attach it. That power connector end has the + positive red as the female end and the - black as the exposed end. You want the + shielded or unfortunate sh*t happens if it is reversed and the exposed peg contacts something. I have seen that stupid sh*t happen on someone's bike. OK, now it is attached to the battery correctly and you think, hmmm, I could attach a connector to that and use it as a power port. yes indeed, that you can do. But now what do I do about the battery charger funny connector end.

One way is to cut off the funny connector thing off the charger and attach an SAE 2 prong connector so that the exposed end of the connecor is + positive and the female end is - negative so that when you now connect the charger to the new connector attached to the battery is connected to the right poles, RIGHT.

The easy way is to cut the jumper cable clamps off the short schumacher connector and attach the SAE connector as described above because that short connector should be black for negative and red for positive. AND the trick is the black end from the cable clamp now gets connected to the red end (sometimes white) of the new SAE connector you are adding instead of the clamp and the reverse for the other. Now the business end of the charger will have the peg or male end as hot or positive and you have to be careful that does not touch stuff just like you did when you had had the cable clamps on.

If you are unsure what is positive and don't know how to use a multimeter, go to Walmart or Schucks or whatever and buy a cheap LED light. Usually the positive lead is white on black or otherwise shown in the instructions and the LED will not light up unless the positive lead is connected to the positive source. SO you attach the LED to the business end of the modified schumacher charger ensuring that the exposed prong on the new SAE connector mates with the female end of the new SAE connector from the bike. You will know if the exposed prong from the schumacher is correct because the LED will light up.

I know it's long but I swear by the process and can do it near blindfolded now.

Good one schoeney, that's about right. Of course if you get it wrong the short answer is FUBAR. Another one from the reserves is MCF'd. I was thinking it should be translated into French. be

OK short pictograph translation. A, get this thingy, http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender...=pd_sim_auto_3

B, cut off the clamp thingys and add the SAE connector thingy so it looks like this one I have. Then you plug in A to B for charging and you can use A for powering other stuff.

NO No No! You indeed are crazy!

1 pull the rear seat,
2 pull the main seat
3 pull the (BLACK) ground cable off the battery!
4 pull the (Red +) cable off the battery.
5 stuff the red pig tail lead up under the RED plastic, and screw the eyelet down on the battery with the red cable.

6 stuff the black eyelet into the black plastic, and screw that terminal down on the battery.

7 feed the new pig tail hard wired thru the opening towards the ft of the bike and down into the wire loom holder just ahead of the battery, and to the left side.. because you will BURN yer fingers if you set on the exhaust side.

8 put the bloomin seats back on.

9 plug the charger battery lead into the the pig tail.

10 plug the charger lead for 110acv into the house...

11 drink a beer and then see of the charged light comes on...

12 go smoke a big stinky stogie, and tick off the wife swearing how smat you are!

Geeze........ Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
