To make it my own

One of the reasons I went to a cruiser style MC is the fun of making it my own. To date I have painted the bottom of the windshield and lowers stained glass blue. Put speakers and amp on for my ipod tunes, cup holder, backrest, luggage rack and chap guards. I have ordered but not received the larger lowers from Edmonds. I also made a leather windshield bag to house the amp and Ipod. And it has all been good but it still doesn't look much different than it did on the showroom floor. But that will change. Tonight I took the first step in a process that I think will really put the bling on and say to one and all; This bike is mine. I am going to replace all the leather/vinyl with hand carved matching leather like the windshield bag. I may even make a portmanteu for the luggage rack. My intention is to post pictures of the various pieces as I get them done for all to see. I figure that by posting this and saying I will update it periodically I will be forced to keep at it. So stay tuned and lets see what happens. I have included a picture of a sheath I made for a knife made just to show what sort of design I am looking at. (first picture post. I hope it takes.)
