Fuel Processor?
I was just on cruiser customizing's web-site and it stated in red letters that they can't send this product to a california address.
You could have your buddy from another state (or someone from the board maybe?) order it and then ship it to you. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I believe that's because they are located in California. I don't buy anthing online located in california because of the almost 10% sales tax anyway.

I had a PCIII on my Suzuki, and it was nice, but never could find a map that gave me good results. I didn't keep the bike long enough to get around to getting it dyno-tuned. I like the Cobra (and Dobeck) because there are some simple pots you can adjust with a screwdriver at the side of the road. I don't have to carry a laptop with me to make adjustments.

In regards to fuel processors. I have stock debaffled pipes. I know a friend that ordered his and had it tuned for his pipes and bike (not a NAD) SO how do I get the settigns right for the debaffled stocks??
Sorry for all the silly questions I post, but I am a NOOB when it comes to mechanical stuff.

Fuel Processor?
Nomads have a open and in electrical open meaning no connection ECU. There is no feed back from a lamda sond sender so the PC III is a waste of time, while some guys still have it.
A PC III is great if there is feed back, but there just isn't, so th PC III isn't told what to do and when to do it, unless you know enough to program it your self, and know how the breathing all works. Both the Cobra and TFI are not smart, and so can't forget like the PC III can. You set these either with the seat of yer pants or a Dino if you like droppin' dimes. The guys with the PC III like them well enough, but appear to never get the PC III just right. The problem is a sophisticated device on a primitive machine. Nomad injection ain't exactly on the cutting edge, and the system is a clone of a Bosche system some 30 years old. If you bought a Nomad because you wanted a fast bike you bought the wrong bike. They are respectable in power and way down low, but they are not fast and never will be. On the other hand you can cross the country 2 up pulling a trailer over 800 pounds if you want and when you hit 9,000 feet in the Big Horns the Nomad won't care a whit. When you get to the other side of the country you change the oil and turn around and go right back where you change the oil again.
