Okay, I picked my tourpak up from the painter on my way home from work last night. Came home and put it back together, mounted it on the Wompus rack and installed the wiring, lights, rack and backrest. I am thrilled with how the trunk looks now.

I promised "after" pictures, so I decided to go somewhere more scenic than my garage. I went to ASU Reseach Park (which also happens to be where my office is located) and to Moeur Park, across the Salt River from downtown Tempe.

Without any further adieu...

below: at one of the ponds at ASU Research Park.

below: in the upper left you can see part of Sun Devil Stadium, home of the ASU Sun Devils.

I ought to mention that apparently the trunk makes everyone think I ride a Harley. I have had more HD jockeys wave to me today than I ever have in the past.

The picture at the pond looks really cool but the temp is what. Nice job on the trunk.

It was about 07:30 in the morning when I took the pictures by the pond. I'd guess it was 97 or 98 degrees by that time. It was 102 when I got home around 09:30.

You can get them with a chrome bezel, and I bought 2 of them that way, but the bezels add a lot of length and width to them. I think they would have looked weird. The bezels are similar to the side marker lights, only bigger.

Shhhh...don't tell Mrs. Jack, but they are for my girlfriend.

Just joking.... the trunk would look odd without the backrest, I think. And she may ride with me someday.
