Best of luck Jared and Please stay connected. Your bile, blog and videos are what helped me transform my nomad to what I have today. The new owner is a lucky guy. Family and new endeavors are priceless.

Hey Jared, we all got to make decisions that concern our families. I, too, took 20 years off to raise my 2 boys with my beautiful wife of 33 years. My advice to you is to make the most of every minute with your wife and children, because life is to short to sweat the small things. Tomorrow I will be laying my wife, soul mate and best friend to rest. GOD called her home on Wednesday night. So, please make the most of what you have because tomorrow it could be gone. I was Blessed with the best mate ever. Good luck with your future. PS. put GOD in your life, you won't regret it.

Jarad thanks for all the great work you have done for the VBA. As many have said already I too put motorcycles aside for a number of years to Bring up a family, but picked up where I left off later. Don't be a stranger on here.

Same thing as all these old guys! 20 year break to raise a family. Soon as I was an empty nester I had my 2006 Nomad in two months. You will rise again youngin' As "why we ride video states" " Once the seed of motorcycling has been watered and sprouts it'll never leave you." Beautiful children by the way!!!

I wish you the very best in your career and family life. Like many others have noted, I took some time off of the bike while raising my family. I began to feel a bit selfish when riding because my family couldn't all enjoy the experience. I'm sure you'll be back in time. You can't ride as many miles as you have without biking being in your blood. Again, best of luck and thank you for your service to the VBA community.
P.S. Thank you for the pictures. They brought back a lot of great memories of our visit to "The Friendliest Ghost Town In Alaska."

As stunning and breathtaking your photos of motorcycles and travels are, they are nuthin' compared to the simple snapshot of your two children. You are very blessed and wise to place them ahead of bikes for a while if not forever. All the best to you and your family.
When you do get another bike, DON'T STAND ON THE SEAT....................
