I had a similar helmet challenge...always needed to drag along one for hot weather(exo 100 half) and one for rain (exo 400 full). So I got an exo 900 modular that can convert to a 3/4. Saved a little room.

My Nolan doesn't have a "d" ring so do something similar with cable lock but usually to the passenger backrest. Has a skiboot type ratchet. Great helmet though other than that

I've thought about maybe fixing a hook or two into the hinge side of a saddlebag, so that I can just hang a helmet there so that the helmet itself remains outside the bag, but is secured by the hook inside when the bag's closed & locked on the strap.
Hmmm. Project?

I have the Kuryakyn helmet lock on the engine guard above my riding peg, that way I can lock it up and have it face down on the peg in case it rains.

Where are the stock Helmet locks under the seat on the Voyager? I have looked for a hook or something to hang them on, but I haven't seen them.

Those wire loops just behind the tank under the seat are supposed to be helmet hooks... at least thats what my dealer says?

The 3/4 or 1/2 would be for warmer weather. Come on HR you should have realized that

Got the same issue with my Nolan, what I have been doing if I don't intend to be long or able to see the bike from a distance is put the helmet snugly down on the rear view mirror and do up the strap tight under the twist grip. I figure that some one will not stick around to figure what's holding it there, or if they do fiddle I can be there before they can get the helmet free.
