How much did you ride over the weekend ??

Zippo so far. As much as I brag about our good weather, we got rained out both days.

I did about 50 miles today, yesterday was raining. I'm going on a ride tomorrow (Memorial Day) of about 250 miles.

Thanks for bumping me out of the lead in the "rider who rode the least" category Wolfman And CaddmannQ. ;) I only rode to work and back Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights so my total is under 45 miles.

Friday, collect Nad from MOT station (Passed) went for quick ride (dinner was ready lol) 47 miles

Friday - worked overtime only 25 miles commuting
Saturday - about 125 miles up to South Barre, VT and back
Sunday - about 240 miles down to Jaffrey, NH and back
Monday - about 75 miles local area riding

Well I did ride Friday home from work.
15 miles the long way
Saturday wife and I went out 185 miles
Sunday 75 miles for coffee
Today 0 miles have to entertain

Total 275 for me and 185 for my Honey on her 800 Classy

I guess its a good day to clean the bike. Its raining cats and dogs. I wanted to try out the new metzlers I just had put on but I don't usually ride in the rain unless I have to. Clean ups a bear!

I heard that! I got caught in the rain twice last week, so I'm going to wash the bike today. What a pain!

monday,I will be riding today after I take care of some honey do's. I hate it for those who have had rain( unless you needed it) we have had a great weekend here in the southeast lots of sun.

Liz and I waited until the rain quit Saturday ( about 2pm ) and headed north to Anamosa, IA. about 220 miles. Got there about 7 and the Motel was booked full so we rode on north to Montrose and got a room at the Blue Inn. Got up Sunday and headed back to J & P Cycles. Spent the gift card Liz got for Christmas and several more dollars and headed for home. Arrived about 5 and did not have to ride in 1 drop of rain. All of our local friends that we ask to go and backed out are now green with envy.

waiting on tire to come in. Bought it and paid for mounting and it has not showed up.
My current tire is to unsafe to cruise on. My fault shoulf of ordered it sooner.

Wife and I went to St. Augustine. Visited Anastasia Sate Park for a little bit, then went to the historic district for lunch and a little shopping. We pulled in to park and what shows up to park right next to me? A Mean Green '99 Nomad G1! What a hoot to have the 2 original color schemes side by side. I talked to the owner for about 15 minutes, each of us pointing out how we had modified our scoots.

After lunch, we rode down I-95 to Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona. Went to J P Cycles and to the Harley store. Got into a little argument with a sales rep about the colors available for the Ultra Classic...which I won, lol. While getting back on I-95, I stopped to check on a broken down bike...a brand new H/D. Guy said he stopped at the light to turn onto I-95 and when he went to pull away it died. He had called the dealership and they were sending someone to see what was wrong.

On the way back home we stopped at a Kwik King to get a drink and talked to a H/D rider. He was asking me about the Nad and he said he is going to sell his Road King and get a Nomad. He said he was sick of the H/D and all the problems he is having.

Home now after 285 miles, bike is cleaned up (love bugs are out) and gonna get a shower.

Friday- Toddf1 and I rode the Blue Ridge Parkway. 136 Miles

Monday Today- I rode up to the Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain NC. Bigdave meet up with me and we rode up together. Round trip 376 Miles.

Total 512 Miles

Nice Day, good ride, great friends, it just don't get any better than this.
