I couldn't have said it better myself, Dave.

Well, I would have spelled "chiropractor" right, but other than that...

To sum it up, most ex Nomad owners came for the Nomad info, but stayed for the attitude.

That sucks. I know they had troubles in 03-04, but I would think the issues would have be resolved by 06.

Engine bearings, camchain tensioners, FI systems, and belts are Twinkcams only problems.

Or is it when you want some intelligent information and insite you come here.
As Dave so eloquently explained, we Harley owners have been here a helluva lot longer than you have. We've owned Nomads and value the friendships we've made here and at the many rallys we've rode to together. A couple of us were staff members here when you didn't know this site existed. Yes, they will let us on there sites but we'd rather come here and successfully irritate newbies like you.

[QUOTE=Dave;472620]Maybe they were here from the start.

Maybe they've previously owned a Nomad back when this was KawNOW and have developed some close freindships with other members.

Maybe in the course of time, they've moved on to other bikes but stuck around because of that friendship.

Maybe Trip does not mind former members here, except Chiropractor's from San Diego.

Maybe other members on this site don't mind the "Harley" riders showing up to thier rallies and having a good time with them.

Since you're new, I'm going to let you know a secret. Not only are there guys on this site that ride Harleys, there's even members that ride Goldwings, BMW's and even Spyders.

But what would I know, I'm just a member that rides a piece of junk Harley and paid top dollar for that, too.

Sorry I hit a nerve with you. But I was just ribbing the harley boys like they were the nomad riders, I know exactly why you and they are here. Just because I'm new to this site doesn't mean I don't know whats going on. Chill out.

Welcome to the group plumber... you just might fit in! You just might have made it through the first part of the initiation process.

Remember to take no sh!t, but hand it out often.

Disagree when it looks like too many are agreeing.

Take your shots when you see them, and be sure to add an extra "just for the hell of it".

And last but not least... bring beer and liquor when you come to the rallies, otherwise -- we'll have a REAL problem!
