I really like the empty look better than the made up panels. It seems cleaner to me, Theres a pic of one with out anything after the cover and crossover were removed attached (i think)

That's not the same engine or I would agree.

I've had the 1600 (shown in your pic), and agree it looks great left alone. However, I also now have the 1700, and feel the removal of the Left side air box leaves an "incomplete" looking hole. With prominent mounting points, and abbreviated cooling fins, it's obvious something has been removed or is missing. IMO

With the cutout lighted, I would like to see it with the V wing much like Chucksters design. Maybe even with color changing LED's.

So what have you decided for the cut out? Would like to see what your putting in the center.

I agree with ringadingh. However, it is your personal preference that matters. By the way, nice work.

I am thinking of going with a biohazard symbol, and having some type of zombie theme... But nothing over the top. Matte finish everywhere, zombie gauges, maybe skeleton mirrors, red accent lighting.

Okay, you didn't say you had access to a waterjet! And here I was, thinking you were doing this by hand. I was feeling sorry for you, bent over the bench for hours on end, hands bleeding from blisters, no food, no water, toiling away to help your fellow riders out. Well, it was a good story while it lasted!

I don't have one... I am building by hand, but the design I need cut is just too intricate. Going to have that cut out.... I didn't want to because it is more than doubling my cost now!

Just a suggestion. Since your going to a water jet and your doing this because the removal of the stock box is evident, what about extending your clyinder fins to where they would end (polished of course) then black out the rest with your lites behind.

I would still like a raw blank one available to let an indivdual fnish as they like and maybe help cut cost. Im not a big fan of bio or skulls but to each their own there are others out there to buy. Or try to build your own the way you want it like your doing and a good job your doing want to see the end product for sure good luck.
