I was trying on chaps one day at screaming eagle and the sales girl was adjusting the hem to my boot hight. My wife turned around from looking at stuff for her self and burst out laughing. No way i'm getting back on the bike with that get up she said. Try some real pants on or i'm walking home.
So i have preferred pants ever since.

Next National your on, if you got the nerve to get up and dance on a table, I'll sing it for ya, but I may need 10-15 Canadian beer or a 24 of American beer first.

I wear chaps in cool weather and jeans year round. Anything below 20 degrees Fahrenheit I had a pair of ski bibs under the chaps.

If you want to wear leather when you ride in summer I suggest the chaps. I saw a guy last summer wearing shorts under his chaps so when he got where he was going he could be cooler.
