Thanks to all for the welcomes. To those who replied from N. GA and WNC. I have done my share of riding throughout the mts of WNC. I am a native of NC from Asheville and moved just across the border to TN about 7 yrs ago. To the rest i have seen alot of this country mostly from the windshield of an 18 wheeler but I know I have missed alot and plan on seeing more from 2 wheels. I would love to go ahead and get my new bike but will have to wait on tax return. I really like the new 1700 but i just cant justify the $1400 price diff from an 08. Plus the dealers will work hard to rid themselves of the 08's before the 09's hit the floor. Then me and mama will both have new bikes. Been a little jealous sence she got her new 900 Vulcan Classic last year. so again Thanks
