You still planning on dropping the front an inch or so?

I like the build, very appealing to the eye. It has got me thinking. :)

It's all good BT. ....I have done some basic changes with a HD fairing and tour pack. Nothing like you want to see. So I'll turn it over to others like John "Bdog" , Jared "UtahMotorcylist" and "jestephens". Amongst others.

Were the tabs long enough to fit the wheel/tire under without having to fab additional brackets? Guess it wouldn't be that big of a deal since I've already fab'd brackets for my stock fender but just curious.

I am seriously considering going with a 23" wheel on my bike this winter. and a few other things. I agree with you and would like to see more Custom Metric Baggers.

Thanks Fellas , Should all be together by Saturday Will post some more pics then...Cb11 I'm not gonna drop the front as you know it's already close , just gonna lower the rear and yeah the tabs are long enough , plus fender came undrilled so that made it easy and also used some 1" regular spacers from hardware store instead of the 60$ spacers everybody trying to sell..SMH !!

Thx for the info. I don't have the light bar on my front so that may give me more clearance to drop the front but I can say that there is room for atleast a 1" drop at the engine guards and my fender to triple clearance. The limit is when the fender mounts bottom out on the fork tube covers. That was at about 1-3/4" and the previous owner had it set this low but it would bottom out and they would hit.

Bt...The Nomad is a great platform for a build to be a custom bagger because there is very little out there for accessories, if that makes sense. Creativity is ones best tool here. I'm not sure what year you have but is it a 1500, possibly a 03? What path of build are you going for? I like the looks of the taller and skinner front wheel for a street crusiser. What are your plans for the reckless? Keep us updated bro....Bdog

Yep your right bdog about the Nomad , and what your saying makes plenty of sense.. Cause aftermarket accessories are very hard to find for these bikes..Dmyers I would really like to see that bike of yours with that paint job on a 23" , Custom paint is my next step....

Are you using a 23" Harley wheel with 3/4 bearings, or is it made for a Nomad?
