I had a Mustang seat on my last bike, and it was an improvement over the stock seat, but I still needed the Airhawk for longer rides.
I have Day-Long seat on my Nomad, and it lives up to its name. Very comfortable on long distances.

Mustangs are fine for some folks (as the comments attest) but they are not the "perfect" seat for all bottoms. I had one on a bike for about 6 months and just flat didn't like it, went with an OEM gel instead.
I have a 1500 Nomad stock seat on my 1500 Classic and I can do 350 mile days with no problem. Longer ones and I use the Airhawk also. Works for me. |

I am with Duffy. I did 6129K to Utah and back in 10.5 days in hot weather with a sheepskin on the stock seat. No problem.
