How about No Hunting without written permission ? Otherwise you shut everyone down.

That way they won't be running out in traffic and causing damage to people and vehicles.
We have way to many here.
I was merely curious as some states allow the vehicle driver to collect the animal for the meat............I don't give a rats ass whether it survived or not either but a hundred pounds of meat would make up for a few scratches. Now go stick your head in a bucket of snot.

Dave there is still plenty of crown land( government owned ) all around here to hunt on. A number of years ago my dad and I were working out side, someone took a shot from somewhere just off of my property and up the mountain a bit. The bullet whistled less than 10 feet above our heads and lodged into the house.
I don't trust anyone with a gun if the business end has a chance of being pointed toward me.
Besides if you want to shoot a deer on my land, you would have to deal with my wife first, let's just say it an 't going to happen.

Well yesterday the weather cleared up enough to take her out on her maiden voyage. I was doing about 50-55 and a deer jetted out of the woods and hit me. Luckily (Very Luckily!) it was not a huge buck, but maybe a medium sized deer. The thing ran right into my cobra fatty highway bar, bounced off the bar/my leg and my bike didn't really even move. I was mortified.

Once I calmed down enough to realize I was ok, I pulled over to check on the bike and the deer. A passer by was already taking care of the injured animal. I looked my bike over very carefully and only found some hair and a couple small scratches on my brand new cobra long shots. I of course was mad about the scratched brand-new pipes, but I realized I was ok and so was the bike. Several people stopped to check on me and I was very thankful for that.

Two things I learned: There still are good people out there. And, I was extremely lucky!
man I'm glad to hear your ok and so is the bike that area is bad for deer,
same thing happened to me 3-4 years ago but it was a pack of large dogs
almost wiped out me, my brother and my father.
my bike got a little squirley but didn't even lay it down we stopped 1/4 of a mile later so I could insert a pack of cigarettes and light'em
had brown pants that day

Thank you so much. Thank all you guys who wished me well! I Appreciate it alot! I've actually hit some dogs before too! I've learned to slow waaaay down wheni see dogs, then speed up when i'm real close to them. that wa yyou outrun them! if you just speed up, you hit them harder!

My uncle hit a deer in west Texas on his HD. Sadly, neither one survived.

A friend of mine hit 2 deer over a period of 6 months, went out and bought one of those deer whistle gadgets, never hit another one!

My idea of taking care of a deer is to put it in the freezer.

It's actually painful to me to know that there are people that are that ignorant and stupid out there, especially when you take in to account they are on the same roads as us.
