Sweet V2K
I near pulled the trigger on a 2006 VN2000, nice red color, 6k miles, never saw rain (or so it looked like), $8,999. Dealer let me ride it in the parking lot and I did some slow maneuvering with it - not a big problem for a large dude like yours truly. Then I went home and read every test ride report I could find about it and none (!) were really excited about the bike other than the strong engine. I am glad I didn't get it and chose the Nomad instead.

That's it Scott, we're through! You told me you wouldn't look at a different bike and here you are admiring a V2K??? What does she have that's so special? Bigger headlights? A better rear fender? Oh, I bet your going to say her exhaust is tighter too! Well that's it, I'm not taking this anymore. It's either her or me!

Sometimes you have to stir the pot to get the right results. Besides, I am advocating for Scott's bike.

Hey Cadd.... I have thought about a V2K to replace my Nomad.....I have been turned off by the issues in the V2k ( really poor tire wear, belt alignment/squeal issues, weak rear wheel bearing (pre-2006)...and some other stuff. Waiting for mama Kaw to sort all these teething issues out...then I may jump.... Until then... I sure love my 2006 Nomad... Stay warm, dry and upright old friend... Slots Reno, Nv
