just was informed that the President of our hunting club will be out of town and I have to hold the annual meeting on the 6th of Aug so if it is the last weekend of July it will be ok.

Well...the proposed get-together hasn't generated much interest but looks like there's a few out there that want to meet-up.

Lets firm up the date for July 30th and the meeting place to be in Blairsville since its much easier to get to than Helen. We can ride over to Helen together if that's what everybody wants to do.

Can you get to Blairsville by 11-12:00?

If anybody wants to make a long weekend out of it, I can put up a few people. Let me know...

I would just ride up from Athens to Helen and meet you there versus going to Blairsville and backtracking. Let me know the time on July 30. Thanks.

Lets meet at 12:00 at the BP station (behind KFC) at the intersection of 19/129 & 515/76 in Blairsville.
Plenty of room to park.
KFC is on the NW corner and Shell station on the NE corner.

May want to rethink about actually going into Helen. VERY-VERY busy this time of the year, especially on weekends.

Now......who's going to make it???

Ever thought of booking a block of rooms at the Copperhead Lodge? Its a great central location for a weekend event. Ride up there Friday evening and get up early Saturday. Folks can split up and do about a half dozen rides including the Georgia Gauntlet and still get back to the Lodge in time to party. Then sleep late Sunday and go home.
