No, I have nothing to gain if someone on this forum buys a Harley. I make posts like that because of ignorant statements like this one...

And we haven't even gotten to Victory's or BMW's yet.

It just gets old hearing the same lame sh*t all the time. Come up with something original and I'll tell you if it's worth a laugh. Maybe we can trade jokes at the Antlers Rally?

Meh I only use the old harley jokes because they are so played out...TBH I like Harley's, just not interested in owning one. My buddy has a 2011 or 12 Ultra Classic...very sharp bike but just too much for my wallet

We'll have to come up with some "rich, poser" jokes. Tough to make fun of a Victory since they're simply the best American made bike out there.

Since there are only two mass produced american bikes, it isn't difficult...Well and it's a matter of opinion. I think Victory has the mechanicals, but the DNA/looks aren't there yet. It'll be interesting to see what they do with Indian. I hope they keep Ness away from that project. As far as rich poser jokes, Goldwings can cost more...and HDs too.

I see Victory offers more than 2 color choices on a lot of their bikes. They aren't bad bikes, but the looks just don't grab me. I also think they should keep the Ness family as far away from the bikes as possible. Having said that, I have an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner assembly, but it's just a high-flow filter design with my stock HD cover on it.

Shoot, Kawasaki is offering just one color on some cruiser models. My guess is that they are cutting back, at least on the cruiser side. I see they got rid of the 1700 Classic LT, but added a Ninja 300...With ABS, it goes for over 5K. Funny thing is all their sport bikes have an ABS option...But I digress. The offerings this year were disappointing.

The Vic looks are definitely not mainstream. The DNA is there, though. They just don't have many issues. Goldwings and Harleys cost more but we were talking about stereotypes like all Harleys leak oil.

Some of the looks (especially the Vision and the rear end of the X bikes) are love it or hate it. (I love the look of the Vision but not so much the rear of the X bikes.) And I couldn't agree more about the Ness family. I just can't see spending an extra $8k for some fancy paint but less accessories. The AN Vision has fancy paint, a tiny signature plate on the motor and chrome grips. Unfortunately, it doesn't have heated grips/seat and the power windscreen is only an option. But Arlen, Cory and Zach are big names and sell bikes. From a marketing standpoint, it's brilliant. You won't see any Ness stuff on my bike.
