I can relate to Dave Hollinger's comment of his move being the best move he's ever made. When I finally get there for keeps my move will be the best one I'll make !!

Langley Township as of June, 2011, was 104,177, up from 93,726 in 2006. This is an increase of 11.2 per cent. I'm sure it's up a lot more again. The way they're building condos and townhomes.

in comparison,.... my new home on the 108 Mile Ranch has 700 homes for approx.
1400 - 1600 people.
100 Mile House, the closest town has approx. 2000 - 2200 people.
For a whopping!! max total of 3800 bodies.

St. Pauls, NC with population of 2271. I have been here since my dad returned from England in 1964. My mom was born and raised here. My dad was in the armed forces for 30 years and retired here. He was originally from Dubuque, Ia. Great little town. No bars.

Your neighbor to the North, Phoenix Arizona. Population about 1.5 milllion. Counting the Metro area . . . Way more than that.

Well this isn't a contest, but you're in the lead for the largest city so far.

I started this thread to see how many members live in small towns versus urban areas.

My subdivision has a few hundred, the town it's "attached" to has about 12k. The town I grew up in had about 2k when I moved there (1980) and has about 6k now. It used to have that nice small town charm. Not so much, anymore.
