I used my Idaho Jack Adapter for the first time today, and it worked great! Plus, my jack slid right under the bike with the adapter attached, I didn't have to roll the bike up on blocks.
Took me about an hour to attach the adapter, jack up the bike, remove the side boxes, replace the shocks, put everything back together, and remove the adapter.
No problems.

If you have someone helping (or you're brave) and can straighten up the bike a tad, you can get the jack under without blocks. Might need to zip tie the front of the adapter to the frame first. I'm good rolling it up on blocks.

Hacksaw, you are going to love it. Once I found my sweet spot I ran strips of painters tape on the adapter so that I can line it up right first time every time for a well balanced bike. Love my adapter.

My HF jack cost less than 1 hour of labor at todays rates. The adapter is about the same as 1 hour and so for those who can do their own work, even if it isn't detailed work, they can save.

They can also do better work than stealers do. After all who cares about the bike more than the owner, and or maybe me.

You will like that as it is a bit nicer than the HF jack.
