Things you've added and can't live without?
Being that I haven't yet actually ridden my Nomad, I can only draw from previous experience. Bruce's top ten countdown of what he couldn't do without on a bike; 10 stick-on digital clock (mounted in steering head) 9 luggage rack 8 windshield bag 7 passenger backrest(when mama's not happy nobody's happy) 6 highway pegs 5 saddlebags 4 cupholder 3 Crampbuster (plastic throttle thingy) 2 Mustang seat, and the number 1 accessory add-on is: (music please Paul) driver's backrest.

My first thought was my drivers back rest, but I could go back to wearing my back brace so I guess it would be one of my aftermarket seats, mustang or corbin, with a drivers back rest and my Throttle Rocker to remove the wrist stain.

I would have to say the highway pegs. I haven't done any extended riding yet with the backrest or cruise. I'm hearing good things about those lowers so I might give those a try.

With all the stuff I have done, Risers has to be the best. Ah-hem, someday I might have a backrest, and then I'm sure that might be the best.

I think the risers/backrest/hiway pegs combo is the ticket

I'm sure if "dinkals" would leave Lonnie alone, I'd already have a backrest. ;<)

#1) Flip-a-lever http://www.gadgetjq.com/throttlelock.htm
#2) Highway pegs #3) Air horn, although this may be #1 if we are really talking about being life saving.

I would say the risers, driver backrest and Kuryakyn dually highway pegs have been a great comfort and something I would buy again.

Risers, highway pegs, lightbar, V&H Baggers, PCM III, BAK, Stebel air horn and Back Off tail light modulator. Yeah, those are my favorites and no, I can't live without them.

Things you've added and can't live without?
I started the thread with the windshield pouch, just to leave the good ones for others :)
The thing that I really can't live without, over all else, is a drivers backrest. I have a broken vertebrae in my L1 lower back. Long rides would be miserable without it. Gotta have a drivers backrest. |
