Kawasaki knows how to do the flames right. If you look at the old special edition Meanstreak they had awesome flames. Not sure why they chose the decals.

I also agree Kawasaki never asked us what we wanted. That's never happened and probably never will.
It is hard to believe they don't have people monitoring these motorcycle forums for our opinions.
HD knows what their customers want and they ask. Even I have done Victory, BMW and HD surveys. Never got one from Kawasaki and I have owned four of them. I would say that Kawasaki is responsible for the Various Bagger Association... :)

I have had 3 Kawasakis since 2007 and never got a survey.
Cindy has had her Victory for a year and has gotten 2 surveys

Topcat the orange bike I posted that started this topic was a red 2011 in the beginning, then painted orange a complete make over, 2 years before Kaw even came out with the burnt orange s.e. Going back, the candy burnt orange Kaw factory paint would look awesome without the flames.

I think so too. Bring back the red and blue too. They'd sell them a lot quicker...But I guess who am I to tell Kawasaki what to do?... A founding member of the Various Bagger Association.

There are many of us and our legion is growing. It seems that when the Voyager/newer nomad came out, it wasn't what we wanted. Then again Kawasaki never asked, but that's another story. It's their loss and HD, Victory, Indian, Honda and BMW's gain.

I loved my Nomad when I got it in 2010. But nothing has changed since 2009. Seems simple though. Kawasaki could smooth out the tranny, ad 20 more HP and stick with solid colors. If they built it they would come.

Yes it did. They stopped making them.

I felt that way in 2010 after selling my 2007. Indeed little has changed since and makes me question the judgement of whoever is in charge of the vulcan line. Flames and decals at that. Someone at Kawasaki is clueless.

It would be nice if Kawasaki would do customer survey like HD does to get ideas on what customers like.

I've never gotten surveys from Kawasaki and I've owned 4, 2 of them from new, but I've done HD, Victory and BMW surveys. Go figure. Either Kawasaki is cheap or smug. Pick at least one.
