Chuck "txcwdancer" Burt's replacement.....

Thanks all, I'm probably most passionate about finding out what a motorcycle can be called on to physically accomplish, and how to pay attention to enough targets to be able to safely ride at a fairly aggressive level.

I'm next most passionate about going on a road trip. I love to go down a road that I've never been on, and finding out what comes up around the next bend. I've been on a 3,800 mile solo ride, camping along the way, and many 1-2,000 mile rides. If I'm not just running an errand, most of my local day rides are about 3-400 mile rides. I've got about 80,000 miles on Nomads.

I enjoy being a part of this site more than any other website and consider it an honor to have Trip find value in my experiences.

Even though I'm very passionate about motorcycle safety and the technical aspects of the operation of one, I agree that my style of finding limits on a bike are a little incongruent with the title :) :)

"Incongruent"?

After seeing your video, my wife said you are "certifiable." ;)

But WTH does she know? If she'd ever seen me ride a dirtbike, or go hillclimbing, I would have never got her on the back of the Nomad at all.

Fortunately there is no photo evidence of any of that stuff, so it NEVER HAPPENED.
