Morning at the cottage. Just had a hail, snow and rain squal. The temp went from a high yesterday close to 70 down to 34. Pretty sure we will see flooding here. The lake was 1/2 way up my front lawn yesterday and rose another 8 in over night. We need some cold weather to slow things down.

Morning. 47 with a high of 70 and mostly cloudy. Nomad sitting with the front end torn apart waiting on the last steering bearing seal to come in. Darn company only sent the bearings and one seal. Guess I'll just have to ride the Mean Streak today.

really sucks, no other way to say it. Physical Therapy this a.m. and work in the yard.

Morning, 21 and sunny. Don't have a yard to work in, most of it around the house is under3 ft of water. About every 5 years we get a nasty flood. The cottage is built to take it, 9 ft higher than the suronding ground and the basement is built like an inside out swimming pool. The big danger is if something goes wrong with the 2 big sump pumps that keep the basement dry, or if the power should go off. So here I sit, baby sitting the pumps ready to replace one or fire up the generator.
