Well, guess what we need to do is at a tear down, need to let Joe @ Chucksters all the dimensions, on spacers, etc....so should anyone want this for their Nomad, they can just order from him.
He's a standup guy, does HiQuality work, and really enjoys making parts for bikes. Once mine is taken back down, I'll send him some info.....AFTER I get my shop moved....

What I finally wound up doing is shaving the fork caliper mounts 3/32s, had the rotors OD turned down 1/8", then mounted the wheel, along with calipers, bled them.
I then used my calipers, cut the spacers....I didn't keep the measurements wrote down....sorry. But its a pretty straight forward swap over....just trimming some off caliper mts., taking a little off the rotor ODs, cutting up some spacers.... I find it makes the front wheel steer a little better.....due to a larget dia. front wheel....

Thanks so much for everyone's input and contribution to this thread.
There is a lot of information to sift through but, it's all here. I've got a whole Street Glide front wheel, rotor and tire assembly to go on my 03 Nomad. A pair of rear wheel bearings and little machine work should make this a pretty simple conversion. I found a picture of an 03 Nomad like mine, which I've been using as an inspiration. Wish me luck ! Well, on the Nomad, there is a cross-over bar behind the rear wheel. I was taught that ny our very own MAS....Place floorjack centered on bar, lift, use jackstands on rear saddlebag crashbars....
I myself, I use a 2 ton trans. jack to raise front under engine....just throw the jackstands under the front crashbars..... I love that blacked out look....

Getting ready to do this also found a seller on eBay selling 25mm spacers cut to whatever size you want for $13 each shipped wonder if they would work https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F253392136114

So, Ive successfully managed to install the Street Glide Wheel on my ‘03 1500.
Using all of the information you folks have provided, i’ve got a nice clean install. Beginning with installing the Nomad rear wheel bearings into the Harley wheel. You’ll need to have a 124mm x 20mm axle spacer ready to sandwich between the bearings (those are each 15mm thick). Then you’ll need 42mm and 35mm outer axle spacers cut and ready in order to hang the wheel off of the forks. I cut 5mm off of each caliper mount as the rotors will now be 10mm wider overall. (You’ll need to shim the mounting bolts with two stainless steel 3/8 flat washers on each bolt) As mentioned many times, the Harley rotors meed to have 10mm cut off, in order to have a new overall diameter of 280mm same as the Nomad rotors. Having a good friend with a machine shop was essential to having what is really nuisance work completed. He charged me $50 for a bit of material and his time. I think it looks sexy, especially when the oem fender is mounted.

So I have the wheel, shims should be here any day (I’m hoping not much difference between some of the instructions I’ve seen, did 35mm & 42mm), I’m seeing different measurements for the shave down of the caliper mounting spot on the forks. I’ve seen .125”, 5mm, maybe some others. I like the metric as its more exact. Thought I’d go with the 5mm. Thoughts?
So I did a rough measurement of both rotors and they are both right around 300. So the mounting point may be my last step to completion. May also wait until riding season is over as I don’t want to have a perfectly good bike sitting when I can ride!

Theres a very very slight diff in the forks widths, I think, between the fork tubes on the 1500/1600s, maybe MAS or someone can enlighten us on it. I know the front bar that protects my front fender fits a 1600....and its real tight getting it in on a 1500.....but on a 1600, not so much so....but I just trim off the mounting pads to get the correct distance from the edge of the rotor. Its more for having the pads floating....I prefer not to have it up against the where the pad has to move from....but thats just me.
