Meet and greet half way ride.

It was a cool ride all the way there, about 180 miles for me. Coming home was much more comfortable.

Meet and greet half way ride.

Great day and a fun bunch; enjoyed meeting the Quebec contingent. Got home about 7:00PM as well. Got on the 407 and set the cruise at 115 and sailed right through.

Thanks for making it possible, now it will be nice to know some of the folks at the Rally.

Meet and greet half way ride.

Good to hear everyone got back safe, well we haven't heard from Sly, but he did not have too much further to go when we parted ways. We rolled pretty good, I was in the door at 6:05, just in time to carve the turkey and that included a second gas stop to buy the cheaper Ont gas and a butt break in Landcaster.
That was fun. It was a pleasure to meet up. The day passed all too quick though. Thanks to all for making the trip.
For those that didn't make it here's how the day went.
On second thought, what happens on the trip to Kingston stays in Kingston, so you'll just have to work at making the next one.

Thanks for not letting the cat out of the bag Norm. ;)
If they really want to know what happen in Kingston they'll have to make the trip.

OK, to the ones who did not make this trip, can you all keep a secret?
Good, so can I

It was a great day!

Hey guys, Sorry I'm late.. got in around 6:30. A great day, a great ride and great bunch of people... It felt like we've known each other for years.... For those of you that were not able to make it, we will try to to something after the rally, that way you will know what happened!!!

Sorry guys, as you know I didn't make it. Had some trouble at the border. Seems like they still have my name on file from the 60's. Took me an hour to find the right tools to put the bike back together. Then it took me about two hours putting everything back on and in it's place. Evidently, they have a party coming up. Cause they kept the wine [and smoking material]. They told me that if I didn't have a problem with that, they didn't have a problem with me heading back south. I was home by 4 p.m., hungry, thristy and tired. Anyway, glad you all had a great time.

I didn't know it was a secret - thanks for telling me; I could have let the cat out of the bag.

By the way, Ring, those guys aren't at all like you told me ;). Some of them are even friendly even when you... oh I am not supposed to say

Have a great one and it was a blast!

Loafer sorry you had such a hard time at the border. I'm not sure the guys at the border really wanted your wine though. There is a law against importing flavored well water into Canada for either commercial or personal consumption, your probably lucky to have escaped with your life.

The Canadian side must have owed the US side one. Probably rolled those bottles back across the border. Too bad, I was looking forward to a taste of the green and the light blue bottles. ::)
