Rode about 250 miles today with my wife on the back of the nomad and my son on his Suzuki. We rode around three lakes, through endless forests, past flowing rivers and enormous granite mountains. So many miles of beautiful winding mountain roads. We barely touched the interstate. It was great. We are totally beat.

Rode 223 miles Saturday. Crossed the Atchafalaya Basin from Baton Rouge and ate lunch in Henderson, LA. Came back home through Lafayette and Morgan City. Beautiful day to ride.

We just got back today from a 4 day trip to Acadia National Park in Maine. Simply Gorgeous. If any locals have not been yet, I highly recommend it.

I know, I know.... No pics - Didn't happen :)

I got back from a trip to St.Louis last night, almost 1200 miles in 3 days, biggest stretch was the trip home and the route i took to avoid rain.

Headed out today, had a few errands to do ... then I noticed how nice my bike was running, and those new tires!!! so much better than the stones ... oopps missed my turn, but I'll just head down the road a little further ..... Was riding all afternoon, got home about 5, and dam if I hadn't forgotten what I went out for in the first place. Didn't even look at the mileage. burned half a tank of gas.

Rode 3.3 miles today. Right to gas station, added stabilizer, topped off the tank and rode home. Back has been horrendous since late April, early May. I think that's 21 miles in 4 months. Last weekend I crawled on all fours for sat and sun so guess I'm improving.
Great to have the wind in my face although only briefly.

Sounds like you're putting the bike away for the season. Hope your back issues improve so that you can get some miles on the bike next year.

about 15 miles today, last Saturday I did a 200 + mile ride to Tallahassee then after a couple of hours visiting son in college rode home, managed 191 miles with out getting out of the saddle, would have made it home but did not want to chance running out of gas.

Rode about 80 miles today. Visited a couple of somewhat local gear shops and got new cold weather riding gear.
