You don't live there anymore, do you? I would hope that not all have the same mindset. My dad said that when he was over there, there were some that said yankee go home. There were some that were glad he was there. He did say the food was awful though. He swore off lamb and chocolate after that.

Steve Hughes is pretty funny for an Englishman, although I understand he's originally from Australia.

Being a biker has nothing to do with what you ride, the clothes you wear or the people you hang out with. It's all about your passion (or lack of) for riding a motorcycle. I ride a Victory Vision which is certainly NOT a Harley, chopper, bar hopper, etc. I don't wear many clothes that "traditional bikers" wear (except a vest and occasionally chaps) nor do I hang out with a bunch of long haired, scraggly, law breakers. I DO LOVE to ride therefore, I'm a biker.
If what you meant was that riding a bike is just a minor pastime and not a passion, I'll agree with you. You're not a biker.

Sorry Chris I have to respectfully disagree. A biker is a one percenter , a law breaker long hair, dirty clothes tattooed to the hilt, rude, anti social , well, you get my drift. You are what is called a motorcyclist

You didn't spend two weeks on a British ship on the way home being served nothing but boiled mutton and eating nothing but chocolate to avoid the mutton. They literally nearly had a mutiny over it.

I kind of agree. It's lifestyle, put on or otherwise.

From what I understand it was the Americans that had the chocolate, not the British ? Chocolate would have been a luxury and I dont think the convoys were heavily laden with chocolate destined for the U.K ? At least they were not fed greasy fish and chips and warm beer (g). For what its worth my dad was in the British army and threw up everytime he was onboard ship. Must have been the mutton and chocolate ?

INJUSTICE...I didnt do it..I dont do it...and my forefathers ALL came from the 'British Ilses"...(On one side we are "Blue Blooded Bleeder's" During the American Reveloution.."Torries"..on the otherside ..One was hanged for his part in The Mutiny On The Bounty ..(I tend to be more like that side)..so I have the same -intensity of Independence that inspired them to come to the new world..and carve out a place for themselves...We arent rich..but much more well-off than could ever have been our fate had the lust for independence and self determination not been strong enought to kill for ! ... Still got it...and that's the risk the top floaters now are up against as they -think they will just lay back and smerk with out retribution as they bring down We The peolpe !
