I have to agree with Rick........I'm unable to attend but that doesn't mean I don't want to. I've always met great folks at the rallies/rides I've attended.

I have to agree. And one of those great folks that I met was you, Duffy! Hope to log a few more miles with you this year.

Here's a great example of the friendships formed at rallies. I first met Duffy and Hammer at a Volusia Riders rally in Creston, BC 7 years ago and frienships were formed. Even though we live more than 500 miles apart we always manage to get in at least one ride together a year.

Yeah Duffy wish you could make it. Been awhile since we shared some miles...even though we're closer to 50 than 500 miles...

Thanks buddy, I'll remember that comment.

I missed the first one because of a conflict and haven't missed one since. Some of the friendships developed here are the best. Going thru what I am they have been there as they could.

I'm pretty certain the current harpooning of non-attendees does not extend to persons such as you or Rickyboy, etc. You guys have attended many rallies and we all know that personal/family hardships are the only thing keeping you from attending now...that's all good. It's the ones who scream to the world they will be there...then not show or even give a heads up of their changed plans. Soooo....just send a gift card (dinner for two) for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse here in Seattle and we'll call it good....!

We will be attending our first Victory Rally in Post Falls, ID for a few days just prior to heading south to Orofino. Although I won't know many people when I roll in (except those from my local chapter)....I know from my previous experiences here that I will have a slew of new friend's when I roll out. If you are on the fence, pack a bag and hit the road...it will be the best time away from your routine in a long time. Like someone else already said...half the fun is the ride there and back.....

I just sat and had coffee with Duffy this morning. I wish he could make it but we have put many miles together as I have with CanuckRider. 3 of the 4 founding members of the Wescaleros. A small tribe riding all kinds of steel horses pillaging and plundering all over the US and Canada.

I try to make as many rallies as I can. Never fail to meet really good people. But sometimes stuff happens and family sometimes has to come first.

Who are you???? I don't know nothing about paying off a bet!!!! Crap, after looking at the menu I'd have to take out a second mortgage for that one.

After paying all the hospital bills and that I'll be moving in with you. Total hospital bill up to July 1 is about $250,000. No doctors, specialists or others bills yet. I can tell you that breathing is worth about $1200 per day at their oxygen rates.

Sorry everyone, I haven't been on the site much lately. Traveling for work out of the country and home renos have made for a very busy spring and start of summer. I'll be there but Deb won't be coming, she needs to save her holidays for our trip next year. See everyone on the 21st.

travel plans are all made.will be staying in Greybull wy. on the 19th,then on to Belgrade,mt. on the 20th,should arrive in orifino late afternoon on Monday the 21st.
