Not even!! I have exhausted my wife's tolerance for my acquiring new (or new to me) motorcycles. I'd still have the Nomad if not for the trailering thing.

Add another HD jockey to the list of attendees. I cancelled my plans for the national rally for medical reasons, but I should be in good shape to attend this one. The "purple Nomad eater" is coming to NorCal!

Oh, I have a confirmed reservation at the Curly Redwood Lodge for 4 nights, starting 8/22.

I spoke with Don at the Curly Redwood Lodge the other day. A downstairs room is now available because Lonnie Necaise's wife Lorraine had not yet canceled their room, which she just did. As you may remember, Lonnie suddenly and tragically passed away this past April.

Well just threw our helmets into the ring and made the reservation for the last room on the bottom floor. We can't make it for the first run to the Ave. of the Giants but we will be heading thru there on our way up so maybe we can meet you all at lunch and ride back to the lodge with you...

Okay....now that the 2011 National Rally is a distant memory... ;)

....it's time to start getting pumped up about our Left Coast version in the land of the giant Redwoods! Seeing some of the photos from Maggie Valley only served to remind me just how awesome it is to get together with our members and hang for a few days. As of today...there are only 65 days left before we tee it up, which will go much faster than you might think.

Tricia and I are very much looking forward to making the trip south and seeing all of our friends....both old and new. If you have never attended one of these KawaNOW gatherings, you are missing the best part of being involved with this great group.

If you are already planning to make the trip, or soon decide to do so, please read and re-read through the entire Rally Itinerary in the link below so that you know what to expect, and what is expected of you. Joel (Waterman) and I have worked hard this past winter to put together what we hope will be a fun rally, but we can't control everything. We need you to do your part to help make it a great success...

Given that my wife's mother is showing-up at about the time this rally is going on... I need help!!!!

I am beginning to think I will make it to the rally.

Does Kawasaki rent bikes anywhere? If not, any ideas? I won't have the time-schedule to ride a bike out, and won't have the time to trailer there (I hate to ruin my reputation by not trailering!!!!)

Anyway... I am seriously thinking I can make this rally and would like to see you guys again... kinda-like the '09 rally reunion... ;)
