Drove my truck 12 miles home from work and took a huge
dump.

Well, been away for about a week. Drove out to Wichita last weekend to visit my son. Tuesday we rode to Bike Week for the day, about 250 miles on the day. Wednesday 130 miles up to Jacksonville. Thursday did 1,066 miles for the Mountain 1000, an IBA SS1000 in conjunction with the IBA Pizza Party in Jax. Rode down to Daytona on Friday for lunch, back to Jax then back home, about 300 miles. Got in about 40 miles yesterday.

So it has been a busy few days.

Yesterday rode up through Albertville, AL through Guntersville, AL through New Hope, Al through Owens Crossroads, AL and to the outskirts of Huntsville, AL and back home to Boaz, AL. Total miles for the day was 100 even. Felt great to have a longer trip for a change.

I worked on the bike today and got it back together enough that I took it for a ride, it felt the way it always has, but a little louder with the UB in it. I should be riding it to work daily later this week.

Took a nice ride yesterday with temps in the 70's. Today, no way with winds at 40 mph gusting to near 60. Done it but don't like it.

Weather here in NC has been outstanding for the last week or so. I've put 1000 miles on her since the 8th of March. NICE!

Great weather here in Pa this last week. Finally got the wife out yesterday for a 100+ mile scenic trip on our new (to us) Nomad and took another 100 mile trip today with a couple friends. I'm loving the nomad, the miles fly by.

A little 10 miler tonight to the auto parts store. Got stopped by a couple HD riders at the gas station. Many compliments on the KawaTanker.

Beautiful weather down here today, mid-80's. I had the day off from work so I took an hour + ride to relax, enjoyed the scenery, but also saw where a tornado came through a couple of weeks ago - not a pretty sight.

Only took a two mile trip to Murphy to get headache powders and cigarettes. A ride is still a ride though. Enjoyed it even though it was so short.
