Hey Shep, I didn't mean to slight you on a reply for your question on the storms last week. I only had a few trees blown down, but no real damage. It was rougher than a cobb for a while. I live in the mountains next to Danial Boone forest, and it helps to break some of it up. I sure feel sorry for those other folks though.

Well I came home last night in a snowstorm, high winds and poor visibility. Blew out about 4" then and cleaned up about another inch this morning. Its 20f and sunny at the moment, but they are calling for more tonight or tomorrow. Ive had enough of this crap, but it keeps on coming.

Good morning all. It seems as if this winter is certainly spreading itself around this year. Spring can't be too far away though. Oh, it's 32 here now but supposed to drop most of the day and be in the low 20s this afternoon with 50% chance of snow. Drats.

The Asheville snow did not amount to too much but I got out of there (on NWA) and back to Denver where it is really snowing. Didn't mean to blemish the reputation of the Great State of NC though. Would like to get back and do some riding in the Asheville area, all sorts of great possibilities, Great Smokies to the west, Blue Ridge to the east, fantastic.

Well, at least other people are enjoying the crappy weather. Had freezing drizzle and snow on the way to work and it looks like just snow right now. I sure hope the weatherman is right about 40's and 50's for the weekend.

Good Morning from East Texas. It's in the high 40s and sunny so I rode the bike to work. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with the dealer to put on new tires. I'm trying Metzler ME880s.

Good morning from L.A.
Working out here this week (Covina actually) kinda rainy and windy, but my wife tells me it's snowing at home, so could be worse.

Yes we did...about 2.5-3.0 inches at my house.....you guys from the rest of the country are going to laugh your assses off.......Schools closed, offices and businesses delayed 2 hrs, etc.
Suppossed to be low 50's today....Man, I cant wait till all this snow is gone and I can ride again tomorrow (that was mean wasn't it.. :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/)

Hey Ells, I am guessing business brought you to Asheville?? They get more snow up there than we do in the central part of the state and you are correct, that is beautiful country for riding.....next time you are this way let me know and we will see if we can make time to have beer.
