Welcome V! You see Nico everyday? Did you lose a bet to someone!! haha! No hazing here at the "Now". We just ride and have fun with each other. Would be cool if someday we all could meet and get to know each other. Since I live in southern Cali, I plan on riding down to Escondido to see my cousin in a few weeks and maybe you can bring Nico and we could hook up somewhere!

A 900 huh? Classic LT? I guess the Nomads Lil bro bike counts!!

Welcome V....... keep in mind that non-Nomad riders are limited to 2 posts per day of 25 words or less.

First off, Welcome Okie! Been through McAlester many times myself.
Trip, I take that same route when I go see my family in Eldon, MO. (Now you gotta look up that little town just to satisfy your curiosity).

Welcome to the KawaNOW forum Okie! Alaska is going to be the next "frontier" for me. I've been on a lot of trips, but there are two trips I want to take someday. One is to ride to New England during the fall and the other is to go to Alaska. Have you written up a trip report?

Also, I've been through McAlester many times traveling up to St. Louis, MO to visit my son who is attending college there. Nice town! I usually run up the Indian Nations Tpike to McAlester, then take 69 up to Will Rogers Tpike, then east to Missouri.

Ride safe,
Trip

Hey Trip! Hey BlownDodge! Thanks for the warm welcome!

BD - I'll take you up on your offer to ride when/if you come to Escondido. Any excuse to 'ride like the wind' ya know?

Trip: I rode to Purcell, OK to visit my bro who rides a 2006 Nomad and my brother-in-law who rides a H-D. Did you make it to ROT-rally in Austin this year? We had a blast here in Austin. Doc

Hey all,
My name is Steve Turner and I live in Cookeville, Tn. My first grandchild called my Pappy and it stuck so, Pappy it is for my forum name. I'm new to the whole forum thing so bear with me. I rode a 2001 1500 Classic for a couple of years but sold it before we bought our new house. I bought a 2006 Nomad on the weekend before Father's Day this year. I like this bike even more than the Classic. I look forward to talking to everybody. Be safe,
Pappy

I just signed onto this forum and I think it is great. I've been waiting for someone to open a Nomad site and I really appreciate the work you put into this Trip.
I traded my '98 Valkyrie for an '06 Nomad back in May of '06. Its black and chrome and makes me smile every time I step over the saddle and start her up. My wife calls her my girlfriend and she's probably right. This is my 14th bike since I started riding in '69 and the best yet. Keep up the good work and thanks for getting this site started!

Welcome DogDoc, Vixen, Pappy, Bear and anyone I missed in the last few days. As socwkbiker said, the fridge is over there, make yourselves at home.
