Buzzy floor boards

My VN1600 Classic is my first engine big v-twin. I have always really liked the big Vulcan twins and this bike confirmed it once I got to start riding it back in July 2018. I like the feel of the engine at idle and riding around town, but I'm a bit surprised how buzzy the floor boards can be, to the point my boots tend to slide back on them just from the vibes.

My Classic has nearly 34,000 miles on it. This winter the engine gets torn down to fix the failed 2nd gear and any other tranny issues. So I'll also find out if the motor mount isolators on the front mount are failed, or need to be replaced. Has anyone else experienced any motor mount issues? Or perhaps the engine mount cross bolt just needs to be torqued up.

Actually, I should have searched the forum first before just posting another thread. Found out a few things to check, like the driveshaft splines (I'm the 2nd owner at 29,000 miles). Its a good bet the driveshaft has never been serviced or checked. Since I have a lot of work coming up this winter on this bike I'm certain to get everything back up to near new conditions when I'm riding again next spring.

That was quite the list of work you're doing Andy... You may need a long winter?

Hey, its Green Bay. The land of the Packers and four months of winter. Should be close to enough time, maybe, almost. Damn, I better get to work!

Yes ! My 1500 classic did the same thing when the frt mounts in the cross bar laid down . You couldn't ride over about 30 miles . You could see from the side they were off center .

I wonder if there is a better isolator mount option versus the stock isolators. If the isolators are standard sized items it may possible to upgrade them to a more durable better material isolator choice. The company I work for also owns Lord Rubber products so I may be able to search our catalogs for a replacement versus just using the Kawasaki part numbers.
