I love my EJK . I installed it two years ago . The guys at Dobeck are extremely helpful with any questions you may have . There are a few of us who use it on the forum . Glad to hear it's working for you .

Here is a post you may find interesting on finding the perfect settings . Thread #10

Thanks for the feed back. So far it's much better than the TFI.
I'm working now on the changeover between idle and green zone.
Top end is great.

When I first got mine my top end was awesome . My idle was rough and I was experiencing some popping so I called Dobeck and the tech there told me to set my Gr/Bl from 6 down to .5 . Because of the aftermarket air cleaner and pipes ( removed the cold air injectors) I have to pull the fast idle knob about half way for a couple of minutes until the bike is warm . Then she runs like a dream and idles very smooth .

Glad it's working for you !! A lot of members here like it .

Thanks, I've been playing with that. Once you did that does the second green light come on at idle.

Negative , only one green light is present when it's idling .

Mine too. It goes to 2 green much quicker.
Stays 2 green till about 75 cruising. If I roll the throttle then
It goes yellow. You can feel it jump.
Runs much better. I love it.
Got to be careful. Cops won't like me. ha ha.

I keep threatening to install mine, which is still sitting on my workbench unopened. I'll get er done before the beginning of the riding season.

About the only issue I have right now is a bit of decel back popping. My mods are a Cobra exhaust and a K&N air filter. I am as yet undecided on changing out the intake.

When you do get it hooked up , I would shoot an email over to Dobeck and ask them for the right settings . Tell them exactly what you have and they'll be more than helpful . You'll never know the true power the EJK has until you add more air to the mix .

I really do understand that. I've modified three Harley's and turned my Triumph Rocket 3 into a 160 HP (at the rear wheel) monster.

My objective for my Nomad has been to enhance HP/Torque the best I can for touring without reconstructing the intake. I suppose I'll go all the way in the near future though. It's what we power/speed demons do.
