Well the teardown is complete.

Tore the NoGlide down for paint, went fairly smooth. Rear fender is a pain with all of the wiring underneath. It will be a while until I start on it as I am neck deep in robotics with my kids. I'll post as I go.

That's the next project. I have 95% of the parts needed to make a walking dead bike. Yamaha XS650 tank, Yamaha R6 front end, Kenda big block tires, etc.

I for one am interested in seeing the whole process, not just the end. :)

Is that a green jack adapter you've got there? What are the pieces of wood for? To take some load off of the jack, or?

The green thing attached to the bottom of his frame is a Idaho Jack Adapter. It attaches to the frame so he can raise the bike up. The wood is probably a precaution to keep his jack from leaking down, I use them also as a stop.
AlWhite does great work! His paint job should really set it off!

You hit the nail on the head. Didn't want to come out the next day to a bike on its side.
