500 miles today and the last 150+ in 100+ temps. Stopped at the Border Inn for a break and drink and a guy on a Goldwing heading west said it was 104 closer to Delta where we stopped.

Good run Dave. We had a great time at Crater Lake and Diamond Lake today. It was beautiful. Only did about 300 yesterday.

Made it home this morning. Brrrr 40-60 deg. Full gear all the way home. Can't wait for my heated seat and Grips for times like this...

Got home at 2pm. Dave, Marie and I left at 5am. It was 46 and dropped to 39 in Bridgeport. We froze even with heated grips and seat. Was 80 in Bishop, 90 in Lone Pine at 9am and 105 in Mojave at noon. 9 hours total. 490 miles.

I got to within 25 miles of St. George, Utah yesterday, temperature was 103, rear tire went flat. It had a broken valve stem. Got AMA roadside service to take bike to my friends house. We replaced the valve stem today, so, I'm good to go.
