This is a federal highway and speeding tickets require going to federal court. I was cautioned about it when I did the BRP a couple of years ago, not a pleasant experience from what I understand. Went around one corner and there was a big tree across the road. Good thing I was going the speed limit at the time or I would never have been able to stop. I enjoyed the scenery and made frequent stops. Going off the BRP to get gas was challenging, or it was for the road I chose. No trucks allowed, sharp turns ahead, and grades in excess of 15%. One of the places I enjoyed was the Mabry Mill, wandered around looking at everything for a couple of hours.

Just remember the BRP is Federal property so speeding tickets are a Fed issue and they do patrol.
