I don't know why someone would flag it for removal. I checked it again and it was...Weird. It's not like he was offering it for $100 or was from Nigeria.

I used to want a Valk. Had plans to buy one... even looked for a while. In my estimation, they're asking too much for them. I realize they don't make them anymore... but still.
That's a nice one Ponch.

******WHOEVER IS FLAGGING MY AD PLEASE STOP. THIS IS A LEGITIMATE AD, I AM A REAL PERSON AND I AM NOT SPAMMING OR OVER POSTING. IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY. THANKS******
I guess that is why it disappeared for awhile. I love the look but can't get passed the 6 carbs. Seems as though they would be a lot of trouble to keep in sync. It would also keep me broke as I would have to have the dealer do all the maintenance. Quiet wiseguys, I do some of my own maintenance on the Nomad.

If that is the hardest thing, it's not something that has to be done often. Just change the oil, FD fluid and grease the splines once every 50K miles. It's a goldwing without the tupperware.

Your biggest problem with that bike TC is keeping gas in it. 6 carbs... not FI.... probably doing good to get 32-35mpg. Other than that, it's practically bullet-proof.

When I bought my 08 Nomad this past June it had just under 5000 miles. It looked and rode perfect but I still had every fluid changed and put amsoil in it. At 12,000 miles after Antlers I needed a rear tire so I had the swing arm shaft drive splines and even the u joint looked at. I had ordered all the parts but everything looked good so everything was cleaned up and lubed. When I change the front tire I'm gonna have the fork oil changed and the steeriny stem bearings serviced. It is a little pricey to have it done but it has to get done either way so a slightly older low mileage bike is pretty good even if you don't do your own work. I'm gonna learn though not only to save money but pride in knowing it's done right
