SHOEI’s all-new QWEST Touring Helmet

I had bought this helmet at the bike show late January this year. Now that the rain finally stopped here, I rode in to work with my brand new helmet today.

The QWEST provides a wider peripheral vision as compared to the RF1000 and I'm liking it so far.

The QWEST was reviewed in various magazine articles and recommend for its quietness. This helmet also has grooves on its sides for glasses as well as cavities to attach intercom speakers.

I paid C$335.99 + tax, special deal at the Tradex Bike show. It's solid black in colour (hence the lower price) but I now need a matching colour Electra Glide. Maybe next year at the same Bike show.

pricey but probably worth every penny. After all it is our heads we're protecting.

Yes, safety first for me, at least during my productive time on the planet. Might lose the helmet after I turn 65, I know it's a thrill to ride without one (no offense to senior members, we all are gonna be there some day).

Anyways, Qwest is actually cheaper than RF1100, the successor of the RF1000, my old helmet. Because Shoeis fit me the best, I don't mind paying a little more.

I'm willing to bet you will change your tune when you get to be an old relic of 65.
