Couple killed on MC

This drunk will be convicted and serve at least 50 years in prison. Probably 60. Still not enough.

Thats too bad for all involved, it says the guy in the pickup was just barely over the limit. There may be more to the story that hasn't been told.

Hardly fair he get's 50 years if convicted, and they get forever no matter the outcome.

"Could face up to 60 years" With the way the justice system is, he may not get more then a couple of years. That is the worst part. Thoughts and prayers go out to the families of both victims.

I looked for an update on the story this morning. Nothing new. I had missed the statement the chief made about there may have been others riding with the couple that were killed. Strange for sure. If he is convicted and gets sentenced to 60 years, the earliest he would get out on good behavior is 30 years. That's if he doesn't have any priors that weren't mentioned. The 3 strikes and you're out is big in sentences here.
