Antenna

Got a $10 short rubber one from Advance Auto. It works better than the stock one(the stations come in better)on my Voyager.

Plugged in a hidden antenna today (zip tied inside the fairing) and I can still get the same stations I can in my truck (with a regular fender mounted antenna. I forget what brand I have but it's NOT powered/amplified.

Good news guys, after reading on other forums about the same problem, because mine fell off today (not the good news), but if you contact your dealer the antenna is covered under warranty, at least that is what they told me and ordered me one. worth a phone call anyway. and a whole lot better than $105.00 out of my pocket.....

I also just read on another forum that the antenna was covered under warranty, so you may want to pursue that avenue. I just used blue locktite on mine, never had an issue with it.

actually, the antennas on harleys are allot longer then the antennas on the vaqueros. I haven't kicked mine yet..yet being the key word.

You can "swing" the antenna down before throwing you leg over your bike, then reach back and sing it back up, but that is a hassle.

Of course, I have to be careful and not upset my antenna stripper babe, one on my car and one on my bike.
