You wouldn't if you don't have it. It does work under those conditions out on the super slab, especially when a lot of ground has to be covered.

That's for sure!! I followed "netnorski" a fair bit this summer and was forever fideling around with my C.C. on hills....until I finally gave up. In a straight line or level road without hills, I would think the Breakaway would be fine though.

And that's why I rarely use it in Iowa. Flat and straight and most of the time I am going very far.

My 1700 doesn't like 6th below 70 mph. By the way if I'm not mistaken 5th and 6th are both OD's
on the 1700.
