Got a few hundred miles in this weekend and now cooler temps are forcing the bike back in the shed. Back to riding Thursday then 70% rain on Friday.

No riding today, I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, one of the perks of working in IT. I did ride yesterday and it was close to 90° on the way home.

I know we are all sick of winter but I am not looking forward to the mid to high 90s we will be headed for by June. I know CJ is used to it by now, but that kind of riding just sucks! Makes me want to run all the red lights just to avoid stopping and sitting there melting.

You have much more humidity than we do. I'll take 105° and 6% humidity over 90° and 85% humidity any day.

Big Bro on his Drifter, and me, on my Big Assed Nomad...did a "Flower Power Ride", over "Table Mountain" yesterday...(raining here today)..It was ---yea you know it, 75 degree's(f) calm, clear, sunny--Severe CAVU !

Considering my /our..inability to handle heat above about 85 degrees(f) anymore..Big bro and I both bought the "Cooling Vests", last spring....and after riding thru the length of Oklahoma last summer in Mid July..I can STATE..Those Cooling Vest's Saved Our Live's !

Well looks like I zoned-out and posted the same photo twice...MOX NIX !

It's raining the last 24 hours...maybe 50 degrees (f) now -12:30 am...
watched a good western on Net Flix, an unknown/un-promoted movie, starring Ed Harris..(hard to find a good western anymore)

Got about an hour in yesterday just tooling around town. Then spent some time cleaning the dirt and grime from the weekend...much better now. No rides this weekend due to the rain.

HARD RAIN..all night..and this morning..Big Brother Got a case of The Jaw'z, made me put my big diesel and ole #4's Frontier out in the rain, while he backed his 63 Fairlane w/ bike trailer attached..into my carport and strapped his Drifter on it !

Told me to brew him a thermos of coffee as he was heading out over Donner Summit..toward the Great plains !

I had about 3/4 of a thermos of coffee in the pot from this morning's brew...so I filled his Stanley with all the coffee..then pissed it the rest of way full !

He should be topping Donner Pass, about now !

Semi Clear today (yesterday)...started raining again about 9:pm tonite -Normal for the time of year.
Big bro got road gestapo'ed short of the donner summit -was told to "chain up the 63 Fairland And the bike trailer or ..go back"
He headed back, fueled at "rag heads" quicky market..and got a tank of water..tore down the carb twice in the rain..shredded a trailer tire..change to the spare, in the rain.. managed to arrive back here at "Maragaita Flat's', about dark last evening !
Say's he will wait a week and try again !
